Hotel Palacio is located in the heart of the Colonial City, within easy walking distance of Santo Domingo’s most important historical monument.
In its time-it was the presidential house of Buenaventura Baez.

The hotel features 45 high-quality rooms with facilities such as a pool, a gym and a sauna. All our rooms are available in four different types (economical, standard, superior and suite) and include air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, hair dryer, security box (free of charge) and minibar.

The rooms are magnificently decorated in colonial style that reflects the grandeur of Spanish castles.

Traveler Studio (economical):
this is the room for the less demanding guest, in terms of space. It has the same security and comfort as the rest though. It may be used for a guest traveling with only their spouse or alone since it comes equipped with a queen sized bed.

Standard room:
our standard rooms are designed for the guest traveling alone, with family or friends. It has one or two beds (Queen or Twin sized) and faces either the street or the hotel garden.

Superior Room:
this type of room has more space; it has a king sized bed, ideal for couples who come here for rest & relaxation, and may also be used by the business traveler since it is spacious and tranquil, some have a balcony from which a part of the colonial city can be apreciated.

Superior Room Deluxe:
this type of room has more space; it has a king sized bed, jaccuzzi and a PC with internet, is ideal for couples who come here for rest & relaxation, and may also be used by the business traveler since it is spacious and tranquil and it also have a terrace where part of the colonial city can be apreciated.

Suite:
this is our largest room. It comes with medieval decorations, a livingroom, a bar, a minibar, desk, dining table , radio, a separate room with a king size bed. This room is perfect for guests who want to feel at home, since it is perfect for gatherings with friends, celebrating a honeymoon or simply sitting back and enjoying the feel of their surroundings taking them back to the period which Cristopher Colombus romed.
