There are good points to what you say, but what about the players who have had bad reputations in their younger years, and although they have tried to turn them around still have the dirt thrown at them.
How about the ones who run charities for their communities, the ones who have children and decide to take a year from a major league team so that they can get custody of their children. These players still get the bad end of the stick in the US and the DR.
Of course my opinion is that Las Aguilas son Campeones.
