Jarabacoa/Rainy Season???

Hi,

I'm planning a trip to DR - specifically to Jarabacoa. July is high on the list but I need to find out if that's when it really starts pouring...? I have asked different people in DR - all seem to have a different opinion on when the real rain starts in the mountains. Any insights here???? Thanks!

No one can forecast weather in advance. The La Niña phenomenon, just as El Niño did before, have changed the normal weather patterns. I would not be especially concerned and would just come down.
