Bearer of Gifts
We will soon be arriving in the DR for the first time. We are staying at an all-inclusive resort in Juan Dolio area. We are wondering what the tipping policy is for maid service as well as other services. We have heard that it is appropriate to bring small gift items such as pencils, crayons, etc. and inquire as to what your experiences might be. Your suggestions as to type of gift, quantity, etc. would be appreciated.
