Easter Good Friday Dates?

When is the celebration for Good Friday to Easter. I will be in DR from Mar. 21-28. Will my vacation be affected by the Easter shutdown? Is it during my vacation? Let me know.

What do you mean Easter shutdown in Puerto Plata? I will be going April 3-10, should I be concerned or will miss out on stuff??

April 3 is peak Easter time vacation for Dominicans. Expect the hotel and the city to be packed with Dominicans. On Sunday, 4 April, the people will head home and the next week you will be left to enjoy with other foreign tourists.
