Is the milk in my hotel in Punta Cana safe for my 18 month old? Is it pasteurized?

I would say yes, but if you wanted to be 100% sure, purchase Parmalat, Nestle or Rica milk in UHT containers sold at the Bavaro Plaza in the area, so that you would be opening the containers to ensure no contamination in the serving. It is possible this milk would be sold in a store on the premises of your hotel, so check before you go shopping outside the hotel.
