Default Soil and Worms

Library in Fort Lauderdale tried to help with my enquiry but I need a definitive answer to this question: Are dew worms, earthworms, red wigglers common in the soil of the Dominican Republic ?? Perhaps someone at local University could help answer that for me - Sincerely, "bj" e-mail SVKUANYIN@aol.com
