bicycle racing in DR

Hello. I am going to be moving to the DR with my wife in August. I am looking for information on bicycle riding/racing in the DR. I will be living in Santo Domingo. Thanks for your help.

There are bicycle clubs, and groups of friends that gather to tour the country by bicycle. Also, there are companies that organize mountain biking excursions. Suggest you contact the owners of Aro y Pedal and la Casa de la Bicicleta (two bicycle shops) when you get to Santo Domingo, and Tricia at iguanamama@codetel.net.do to gather this information.
