braids near the iberostar bavaro?

my 9-yr old wants to have her hair braided when we are in punta cana later this month. did this 2 yrs ago in puerto vallarta while sitting in a tent on the beach, cost was about $15 (a bargain!) and it took about an hour or so. her hair is shoulder-length. it's so much easier to care for the braids (no tangles!) and she loved the look. anyone know if we can do this near the iberostar bavaro? also, any thoughts on that hotel? thanks.
