Re: Los Corales??
Hi Nancy, we shall be staying at the "Villas los Corales" in April. This hotel is located on playa Bavaro in the "Cortesito" village. It is an esemble of 20 mediterranean style villas (bungalows) set amoung landscaped tropical gardens. Each unit has either 1 or 2 master bedrooms/ living room with 2 twin sofa beds/ a dining area with kitchen/ balcony or terrace. Amneties include a pool with integrated jacuzzi & baby pool, beach resto & bar, gourmet resto(seafood/ italian & creole cuisine) TV & video room (big screen), pool billiard & game room, mini-gym. Watersports equipment can be rented at the resort. Also on site is the Plaza Los Corales with: mini market, travel agency, pizzeria, beauty parlor, boutique, drugstore, medical service. A larger shopping center Plaza Bavaro is a 5 minute drive away. Local bus (guagua pronounced wawa) passes nearby the hotel, costs about 3 pesos p/p!! The hotel direct phone # (809) 221-0801 the receptionists speak good english, I have called a few times to get information. The closest airport is Punta Cana 20 minute drive, Santo Domingo Las Americas airport is 3 1/2 hrs. drive. Hope I have been of help. When are you planning on going? Have a great trip!!
