Default Occidental Flamenco

We are heading out to the Occidental Flamenco Beach Resort the end of March. Have been hearing some conflicting reports as to the place. Crowded, marginal service, and several other negative comments. Can anyone tell us something good?

Hola, Check the Resort & Hotel Reviews, keeping in mind that you will get good and bad reviews for all the Resorts. One thing I can say is that I've stayed at two of the Resorts in the Playa Dorada Complex and LOVED both of them and I'm going to stay at Flamenco this April. Go for it, just enjoy the sun and fun!

Hi.......My fiance and I are heading to the Flamenco for our honeymoon in July......and I've been doing lots of research on the resort.....heard only one bad review on it........the rest were pretty good, my sister-in-law was there last fall.....and said she was treated like a queen....... and believe me for her to say something like that she must have had some pretty damn good service....cause she's a difficult person to please....... *S* good luck...and let me know how your stay was!

Hi. We just got home from the Flamenco last Sunday and let me tell you it was FANTASTIC. There was way more to do than you can do in 1 week, the food was great and the staff are all super friendly, even if they can't speak english they are all smiles and as helpful as possible. The only time we had a problem was one day it rained and so nobody went to the beach, or the pools or anywhere, so the hotel was pretty busy but there's not much you can do about that. I would highly recommend it. If you have any specific questions, feel free to e-mail me.

This is a great hotel. Was there in `97 with two friends. Great selection of food, most all-inclusive hotels don't have as much selection. The grounds are beautiful and lush. This was definelty one of my favorite hotels. Also right across the road from the mall. Change your money at the bank across the street better rates. Cheers Jacqui Feel free to e-mail me with more questions jforgeard@hotmail.com

Just thought I'd join in and say that we have stayed there twice in the last 3 years. It is a very friendly and well run Hotel. We are going to the Jack Tar this year in December so hopefully this will be just as good!!!
