There were pails and shovels all over the beach when we were there but I am not sure if they belonged to the hotel or the guests. If they don't supply them I know you can get them in PP and there is a store west of the Resort that sells swimming stuff and pails with shovels! Not sure about the gameboy or nintendo! He will probably miss it (Like our son would!)But he will survive and there is alot for them to do!

Hello D&G: My son came with me to Hacienda in Nov. and he is a N64 addict and tv and computer as well. We had no tv, no N64, and no VCR. Nothing. The only electric item we had all week was my tiny radio playing Spanish music all week. He survived wonderfully. I went to the Dollar store here in Canda a couple of days before our trip and the CAA store and bought cheap $1 games for us to play in our hotel room (Garden Club) at night time. Magnetic Tic-Tac-Toe, magnetic fishing game, things like that. It was nice not to have all the gizmos and luxuries of home. And he learned how to excercise his whole body and not just his thumbs. He also learned how to have quality time with his mom too. He returned home with more appreciation for his home and material things that he has after seeing the homes that people live in there on the way to the resort. Thanks.
