Can you share information on this resort? Have reservations for first week in April and have never been to Dominican Republic. Have read lots of comments about sickness? Any feedback? Is the hotel nice? What about dress requirements for dinner? Was there any entertainment on the premises? Any feedback will be appreciated.

This hotel is more than nice, it is a treat for couples in love. Or if you are not in love, you will be after your stay. Check the resort data base and the message board archives for reports on people getting sick at this hotel. Can't remember any bad reports. Do not over indulge in sun or food and drink. Drink the bottled water. Casually elegant is the norm for nights. Have your spouse bring slacks for dinner, but there are areas where you can dine in shorts. All hotels offer entertainment on the premises. Again, most people are quite tired by the evening and collapse. Prepare for a gorgeous beach, long walks (the hotel is build within a mangrove), and enjoy the classic music that will be played to you at one of the restaurants.

The costs I found for a standard room with Queen Bed is $85 night after April 12th I believe. They have a web site at: www.hotelbook.com/live/rates/19481/USD
