Guests at Boca Chica Resorts

I have read that BC resorts such as the Boca Chica Resort and the Coral Hamaca do not allow you to invite guests to their resorts. First, and foremost, I am not talking about or interested in bringing a local "guest" back to hotel with me. However, if I should meet another vacationer and wish to ask her to join me poolside, is that also prohibited? I guess what I'm really asking is whether the resort staff is selective as to who can join me while I stay on their premises.

The Boca Chica Resort would allow you to have a guest on the grounds only if you buy them a day pass (no wristband=no entry). It would allow them to utilize all restaurant/bar/beach facilities. I'm not sure of the cost.

From what I saw during my stay at the Boca Chica Resort in December, 1998, any guest(s) would have to buy a day or night pass to gain access onto the resort.
