Higuey to Samana/Dolores thanks for the advice

The trip can and was made, going from Higuey, El Sebor (sp), Monte Plata, Cotui, Nagua and back to Samana.

I took your advice and selected a Nissan 4x4, and with the help of a farmer and his two mules, made the delivery of medical and other supplies.

This road should not be considered unless you are traveling in a "convoy" of two 4x4's, or at least one with a winch. There are many river corssoins, deeply rutted mud paths, river crossings etc, One 40 kilometer section took almost 6 hours.
