Re: SOSUA
WELL I WAS TOLD BY SOME GUYS THAT SOSUA DISCOS WERE GREAT. I NEVER MADE IT TO ANY, AS I PLAYED TOO HARD DURING THE DAY. THE GUYS SAID THE THEY PLAY ALOT OF AMERICAN MUSIC, HOWEVER WERE APPROACHED BY WOMEN OF A KIND THEY WERE NOT INTERESTED. (IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN).
THERE IS DISCO AT THE CASA MARINA, BUT IT IS VERY DARK, HOT, AND NOT MANY PEOPLE GO THERE. IT DOESN'T OPEN UNTIL 11:00, AND THE DRINKS ARE NOT INCLUDED. WE ENJOYED THE BEACH BAR UNTIL 11:00 PM. FRANKLIN, OUR BARTENDER IS GREAT.

Re: SOSUA
WHAT EXACTLY DO THEY WANT TO KNOW. IF THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A BARGIN, THE CASA MARINA MAY NOT BE THE BEST ONE, BUT THE SOSUA BY THE SEA, WHICH IS RIGHT NEXT DOOR, IS MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE. THEY MAY WANT TO TRY THAT. WE DID WALK THROUGH IT, AND IT SEEMED VERY NICE.
IF YOU HAVE ANY SPACIFIC QUESTIONS E-MAIL ME DIRECT IF YOU WANT.

Re: Sousa and DR
ARE YOU REALLY MOVING THERE? IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL. WE DID MEET A GUY FROM CANADA THAT LIVES AND WORKS THERE 4 MONTHS OF THE YEAR, AND GOES BACK TO CANADA AND SELL COMPUTER SOFTWARE THE OTHER 8 MONTHS. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR MOVE.

Re: SOSUA
IT IS SO NICE TO BE AROUND PEOPLE FROM SO MANY DIFFERNT COUNTRIES. I HAVE BEEN TO MEXICO TWICE, BUT WOULD RETURN TO THE DR BEFORE GOING BACK THERE.
I DID HEAR THE CARABETTE IS MUCH QUIETER THEN SOSUA. WE WERE TOLD TO GO SEE IT, BUT RAN OUT OF TIME. WAS TOLD THAT YOU DON'T HAVE AS MANY PEOPLE AROUND TRYING TO SELL YOU STUFF.
THE CASA MARINA IS VERY NICE. WE LOVED IT AND WOULD GO BACK TOMORROW. VERY CLEAN, AND THE PEOPLE WERE GREAT. THE BEACHES ARE WONDERFUL AS WELL. YOU CAN SNORKEL AND DIVE RIGHT IN SOSUA. GREAT SNORKELING AT THE SOSUA PUBLIC BEACH. THEY DO HAVE SEA DOO'S TO RENT, VOLLEYBALL, SOCCER, AEROBIC CLASSES, AND OTHER THINGS. JUST DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU LIKE. WE DIDN'T FIND A LACK OF THINGS TO DO.
YOU BE JAMM'IN IN THE DR, WE SURE DID

Re: Sousa and DR
Hi Robert
You will not have any problem renting in Sosua....there is a lovely residential area where I expect you can sub let also hotels and guest houses in various price ranges....all inexpensive by Canadian standard. I have vacationed there about 15 times over the past 10 years...I even bought a piece of land in Sosua for the future. Good luck on your venture Mike Martin
