Jeep Safaries - Playa Dorada Any Comments on the good, bad or indifferent??

I've heard a few comments by individuals and groups who took advantage of several different types of "jeep safaries" while in the playa dorada area. They sound like a great experience! I'd appreciate any suggestions on who offers the best service, what the prices are like, what kinds of things to expect on these safaries, etc. Thanks in advance!!

We went on the Jeep tour when we stayed at the Playa Naco hotel this past March. That was the highlight of our week! There were two different ways that you could get the tour, they sold them through the hotel also, there were people on the beach walking around selling them also. We bought our tour off the beach from a man named "Alex". The whole trip was safe, but if you are not a good swimmer I would be carefull when you get up to the waterfalls. It was a wonderful time though. If you have any questions about anything that you need to know about our trip, please don't hesitate to write back.

You'll also find that places offer a Monster Truck excursion. Very Large 8 wheeler open top rough ride but definately worth it.

I saw that "Monster Truck" It looks like an "old" soviet BMP.
