Cruise Ship Canceled

I read it in the news.Inspiration will not return to DR in october.I took that cruise two summers ago and couldnt wait to stop in DR to see a few freinds and put down some Presidente's.Beforhand,being my girlfreind wasnt as familiar with the capital as myself we took a short bus tour from the ship to los tres ojos,faro colon,aquarium and colonial city with other cruise passengers.What happend! The docking facility bathroom had no toilet paper.Everytime the power went off the lights shut off but couldnt be restarted until they found the guy with the one and only starter for the fluorecent lights[an electrial component]because people would steal them. Los tres ojos I gotta say such a beutiful attraction ,Ive been there twice.But what gives with the dissgusting restrooms that dont work for nothing and grafitti? Touring through the streets the passengers would comment and make rude remarks about the garbage that was seen in huge piles in the street waiting collection.In the colonial city litter was strewn around the streets and the problem that I had with the police disrespectfully flirting with my woman thinking I dont know spanish(COñO QUE PIQUE).The bad impressions left was the topic of disscusion at the dinner tables that evening.It felt bad hearing this talk and I even tried to defend the country ive grown to like so much the past years.Its really a shame the govt. cant get their act together because now everyone the looses.
