MONFONGO AND MONDONGO are completly diffrent.

Mondongo is tripe, usually stewed or in soup.

Monfongo, if fried green platins, made like tostones, then mashed in the pilon, with garlic, butter, and fried pork skin. This is my favorite dominican dish which can not be found everywhere.
