riu merengue or mambo any info???

hi..has any one stayed at either of these resorts....can not find any info...not even a # for brochures...travel agents do not know too much either.....help...would love se first hand info...thank you barbara

They are right next to each other on an isolated beach about six miles out of Puerto Plata. We stayed at Riu Merengue last Janurary and just loved it. We've traveled all over the carribean and stayed at many all inclusives and I can say without reservation that this by far the nicest place we've stayed.

My only complaint is that the watersports are a pretty good hike away from the resort.
