Try contacting Grahame Bush. He had a decent Cherokee, don't know the price but from the year, seems it should be in that range

I have a 1990 Suzuki Samurai in great shape. New tires (unusual in this country), low miles and good gas mileage. Less than $5,000. This is a low cost 4wd convertible perfect for the beach.
