We will be staying there in June (2 adults, 3 kids) any advice on the best way of getting from the airport to the resort? They say there is no shuttle service. Is a taxi best? thank you for any advice. Daphne

taxi will take you about 30 mins ask the price first should be around 300 pesos you are going to a very good hotel enjoy!!

About 18-20 Dollars (Actually 18.98 according to the conversion rate posted on internet today "Onada")

See the below taxi stand. It is in Boca Chica, about RD$150 from the airport. Since it's RD$200 to Juan Dolio from Boca Chica, figure about RD$350 to Juan Dolio from the airport.

THANK YOU. DO YOU TIP A TAXI DRIVER LIKE WE WOULD IN THE US? Also can I pay with US dollars or must I pay in pesos?? Thanks everyone for your help this board has been very valuable.
