We travel to DR on June 24 for to weeks to Puerto Plata Cofresi. My Questions:Is it Rainseason at the moment?

If it rains how long does it rain?

From your name (icecube) even if it rains some, it seems where you might be comming from a little rain would be welcome. I worked in Alaska for a long time and could'nt wait to go to DR for a month or so in the winter.. Rain, shine or wind. Loved it then and still today. It is possible that it way rain for two weeks, but this is very very unlikely. The weather in the DR is usually party cloudy with chance of pm showers. Brings lots of sun screen. It is more likely you will have a hot summer day than a rainy one.
