We're going there July 10. I'll post a report when I get home. If you get any information, please share.

We are leaving on Saturday, and will be back on the third. I'll try to write a report when we get back. I would love any tips if anyone has already been there. Thanks

I'm a travel agent who is just now learning about the DR, finally!

My boss told me that the Allegro Bavaro is the place to be for adults, especially couples. I'd like to visit there myself some time.

We stayed at the Allegro Bavaro in April. I thought the Allegro was extremely FAMILY ORIENTED. The Allegro Jack Tar resorts are for adults. They are currently building an adult only complex to the right of the Allegro Bavaro. We (my husband, myself and 3 children (14,12 and 10) had a great time. They have a very nice children's program and activity program. They play a Disney movie on a large outdoor screen almost every night at 7:00 pm. At about 9:00 there is a show. I'd say half are family oriented oriented (Aladdin, Broadway) and the other half are more for adults (Excerpts from Phantom of the Opera, Dominican fertility dances). We had a great time. Food was very good.
