Mountainbikes - Jarabacoa

Hi, Does anybody know something about renting mountainbikes in Jarabcoa on a weekly basis? And who to contact?

You can rent mountain bikes from Rancho Baiguate, and perhaps some other people. Rancho Baiguate has a website, though I can't remember the address right now. Do a search and you'll find them.

Hi Richard, Thank you a lot. Baiguate, however, has told that they don't rent out bikes on a weekly basis - only in connection with their guided tours. This does sound odd. Maybe I should speak with Omar directly. Besides, I have been in contact with Iguanamama in Caberete and they are willing to send us 2 bikes from Caberete to Jarabacoa - great service. I promise to give Omar your regards.

Iguanamama is another great company. The woman who owns and operates it is Patricia Thorndic. Give her my regards as well. Do you have their 800 number? Have you been to their web site?
