My girlfriend lives in Santo Domingo. We know each other since May,1999. I meet her on my first tour to Santo Domingo. In two weeks I went htere again for 3 days, just to see her again. Now, I want her to come and visit me, but my dominican friends from here ( New York ), keep saing that it's very hard. Can anyone tell me, what should I do. I really want her to come here (NY). I missed her. Thank you.

You need go to the embassy in New York and looking for a application the name is Y-40 she can receive a visa for fiance.

or if you prefer buy a second passport of other country. for example Granada or Panama in this countries haven special programs. let me ask your girlfriend travel in other time. if is yes is more easy.

Unless your girlfriend comes from a politically well-connected family, has a great job and works history, is wealthy and owns property, she will not get a visitor/tourist visa.
