Golfing in Playa Grande

Does anyone have information on the above, ie what is the golf course like, how much, near by resort?

If you look up Caribbean Village you will find information on the Playa Grande Golf Course. Nearby hotels include the Catalina Hotel, telephone number 809-589-7700 email (I believe is) la.catalina@codetel.net.do Also the Club Costa Verde I've heard is good. The golf course is truly marvelous. Designed by the Robt Trent Jones Assoc. Features 12 holes along the ocean. Try to book into the nearby Alegre Resort. Nice hotel with an moderately priced all inclusive package that includes the golf. At least it did in the past. A great bargain enjoy.
