Are there Bus Stops at the POP airport?

Thanks to Jack, Joanne and the POP reporter for your answers to the nagging question about bus service from Puerto Plata to Santiago. However, I have been told that the there are no bus stops at the airport. Is my source incorrect? I hope so!

You have to get the bus from the terminal in PP. A taxi from the airport will get you there. Took the bus to Santo Domingo from PP during my last vacation and it was one of the most comfortable rides ever. I would suggest you have a sweater or jacket with you because I found it cold. A/C obviously worked well.

I dont know of any bus stops at the Puerto Plata airport. Of course there is always the gua gua. For the money (approx $10US ) take a taxi from the airport to the Metro Bus Station in Puerto Plata. And do keep a sweater out for the bus trip. The air conditioning is set low. The scenery is terrific.
