Default Casa de Campo

I'm looking at going to Casa de Campo for golf and relaxation. One person in our group is pregnant. She is concerned about the the resort itself and drinking the water. Has anybody been there and have any info. Thanks

See a review at http://dr1.com/hotels/database/SouLaCasaQ8B265KJ.htm or click on the link below. Also visit their web site at http://www.casadcampo.com/. As in every resort in the Dominican Republic, drink only bottled water. If you are staying in a casita, your refrigerator is stocked with fresh bottled water every day.

Casa de Campo has some of the dining and dining service of the dozen or so top resorts in the country that I have visited. Food would be this resort's strongest point, if you want your food "American" style. It will be no problem for a pregnant woman.

I there, Jim--

Yes, I have been to Casa; I live[d] in La Romana while on mission assignment and know lots about it. It is one of the BEST places in the entire Caribbean and there is ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM WITH WATER, SAFETY, OR ANY PROBLEMS WITH FOOD. As for the golfing, the TEEH OF THE DOG course is spectacular and the staff at the proshop, including Mr. Giles Gagnon the Pro are very capable and take good care of the visitors.

Enjoy y bienvenidos.
