RE CORAL HAMACA, BOCA CHICA

MY WIFE AND I 11YR OLD DAUGHTER AND 21MONTH OLD SON ARE STAYING AT THE CORAL HAMACA 3TH OCTOBER, 1999 WE HAVE BEEN TO THE NORTH COAST OF THE DR TWICE AND REALLY LOVED IT (WE ACTUALLY GOT MARRIED IN DR LAST OCT) AND WOULD LIKE ANY INFORMATION FROM ANYBODY WHO HAS STAYED AT THIS RESORT.

I didn't stay there but was in Boca Chica. From what I have heard it is a all inclusive. Even the beach is private. They do have a casino. Just outside there are people waiting for you to take their bars (avoid them). The place looked nice from the brocures people showed me

I HAVE NEVER STAYED BUT MY DR FRIEND KNEW THE HEAD OF SECURITY AND HE TOOK ME AROUND THE PLACE. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL HOTEL. THE PLACE HAS ANYTHING YOU COULD EVER WANT. I AM SURE YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME.

I have stayed at the hotel on at least four occasions. Have not been there in recent years, because of family considerations entailed stays in the Capital and the east.

I like the Hamaca very much. It is all inclusive, at bit upscale from the other resorts I have visited. It is 10-15 minutes from Las Americas Airport. If you booked an all inclusve package with the hotel, you may have a greeter from the hotel at the airport to assist you to your ground transportation to the hotel. If you approach the resort from Boca Chica, the main Hotel building will be on your right looking over the beach. The main building offers a casino, restaurants, bars, banco de cambio and i'm sure many additional amenities and creature comforts. The beach although smaller than those of other resorts is kept very clean, plenty of beach chairs, bars, snack bar, and activities. There is usually entertainment at beach theater each night. The opposit side of the road from the main building offers additional rooms, restaurant, pools, bars. It is also a very short walk to the beach area from there. Yet, the hotel does have a shuttle service if needed.

Unfortunately, I haven't stayed at that resort but have been to its discotheque. I've visited the area and you will fall in love with everything about Boca Chica. It's a very luxurious hotel and the people are friendly.

ive stayed in dr three times and twice in Boca chica and believe me when i tell you that the Hamaca is a nice place for you and your family. I wouldnt want to stay in the hotels that a single guy like me stayed at.So enjoy your trip and look out for a guy named TOMMY he usually drives the banana boat in the ocean.BRIAN FROM NY
