Default Has anyone ever had a VERY late arrival?

My friend and I are flying out of Canada October 23rd but will not arrive in Punta Cana until after 11pm...I figure by the time we get through customs and arrive at our hotel (Allegro Bavaro) It will most likely be about or after midnight...When we depart it will be 1 am on the 31st. My question is this.....Since our 7 days (according to travel tickets) is up on October 30th but we don't fly out until the 31st will there be a place for us to at with no additional cost? Who do I ask?

Can't your travel agent help you with this? If not, I would be switching travel agents!

I arrive and depart the same days and am staying at the Allegro Bavaro too, small world huh? Anyway, I've read everything I could find on the hotel and surrounding area. One of those items was a review written by a former patron of this hotel, it said they made special arrangements regarding there check-out time. Apparently they had to be out of their rooms by regular check-out time but the hotel stored their luggage and allowed them use of all facilities until they were ready to leave. They were also provided with a room they could use to shower and freshen up. I know many of the big vacation package companies have late departures and arrivals all the time, if you're traveling with one of them they have probably already made the arragements for you but I'd ask to be ccertain. If you planned your trip yourself as I did you may want to call Allegro's Florida office and see if you can make arrangements for yourself. The number is 1-800-858-2258. Hope this helps.

We stayed at the Allegro Bavaro in July. Our plane was leaving after 9 p.m. We had to check out of our room at the regular time. The hotel held our luggage in a room near the lobby. We were allowed to use all the facilities. After swimming we went to the lobby and they told us what room we were able to use to shower and change. (We kept a change of clothing in a back pack along with a plastic bag to put our wet suits in.) Our shuttle to the airport was picking us us at 10 to 7. The buffet opens for dinner at 6:30 so we figured we would hurry and grab something to eat. That night they allowed us in the buffet at 6 so that we would have plenty of time to eat without hurring and worryin about missing our ride. The Allegro was very accommodating.
