Help with aparta-hotel

Can anyone refer me to any unexpensive aparta-hotel in Santo Domingo, La Romana, Sosua. I will be around DR from Oct15 to mid Dec 99. Any suggestions are welcome.

In Sosua, you might like Hotel Tropix. It's only aboout a 5-7 minute walk to the beach, offers beautiful tropical gardens, bar fridges in each room, honor bar, and is very reasonable. When the kitchen is not in use, you can use it to make your supper or snacks. Call Sylvie, the owner at (809)571-2291. for reservations. She was born in Sosua, and speaks German, English and Spanish.
