Baby Milk for a 21mth old in DR

WE ARE GOING TO CORAL HAMACA HOTEL IN BOCA CHICA, DR, NEXT WEEK, WE HAVE BEEN TO THE DR TWICE THIS WILL BE OUR 3RD TIME (AND OUR 1ST TIME TAKING OUR 21MTH OLD SON). WE ATE CEREAL AND THE MILK TASTED LIKE ENGLISH MILK, IS THIS OK TO GIVE TO A BABY, IF NOT ANY IDEAS, ALSO HOW DO YOU WASH THE BOTTLES ??

George, mark said to ask the kitchen staff do they have an industrial steamer, this is similar to a dish washer, most modern kitchens do. Ask them to steam them for you.

Hi, We took our 20 months old dauther in DR too last year and we brought the milk with us from Canada as we didn't want to take any chances. We brought canned milk , the one you mix with an equal amount of water. We brought small cans so we used one per bottle. We washed the bottles with the bottled water provided by the hotel and we didn't have any problems. Good luck,

We just returned from the DR with our 21 month son. The milk was a problem. We ended up buying Rica milk, the kind that is refrigerated and that tasted the closest to the milk in the US. Rica has a milk product that does not need refrigeration and tastes like the milk you mentioned and our son did not like that. He did drink it. He did not get sick from either type. We stayed at Casa del Mar and Casa de Campo and he had milk at their restuarants and did not get sick. I think the milk will be fine at Hamaca.
