PRESIDENT FERNANDEZ

I understand President Fernandez was in Washington, D.C. this week because I encountered a group of Dominican reporters at Washington National airport and they advised me that they were in town to cover him. My question is how does he travel via commercial airliner or does he have a private plane? Do you know why he was in town?

I heard someone said at the welcoming reception that he had arrived via private plane. In DC, he met with the president of the Inter-American Development Bank, with the Inter-American Dialogue, and discussed trading issues with other Latin American presidents in Congress.
