FUN TROPICALE

WE ARE GOING TO BE STAYING IN THE FUN TROPICALE NEXT YEAR,HAS ANYONE GOT ANY INFORMATION ON THIS HOTEL.MANY THANKS.

Lorri (a big fan of the dr 1 board) and myself are also heading to Fun Tropicale, at the end of December, for the millenium. When are you going we could provide for you all the info you need after January 9, 2000. But for now I can tell you that it has 3 or more pools with at least one with a swim up bar. It, according to my friend Pepito, who works there, has the best nightly shows. The food is suppose to be the best, and the drinks well all inclusive so how can you go wrong. It is not on the beach but does have shuttles that go to and from the beach for most of the day. The hotel itself is located at the furthest end of the Playa Dorada complex, from the main entrance into the resort. The walk to the mall or other hotels, with their discos can be a bit dark at night, but totally safe, no worries there. Let me know if you want lorri or I to give you more info after Janaury. We are very excited about staying there, since we have never been there ourselves, we usually frequent Heaven's and Paradise.

If you talk to timeshare sales there, do not give them your credit card number as a deposit or to hold the deal, because they'll immediately charge for the entire amount of the timeshare. They even went so far as to forge my signature on the credit slip. Other than that I've heard nice things about the place.
