Default Summer Camp

I'm researching a summer camp for my daughter who is 6 for summer 2000 in Santo Domingo. I would like a bi-lingual camp (english/spanish)with a good structured swimming and recreation program. I reside in the US. It has been very difficult to obtain information on this matter and any help out there would be appreciated.

Default Re: Summer Camp

The Carol Morgan School has a very good program. They offer swimming in a nearby facility. They mostly take Spanish-speaking students that want to improve their English. Classes are in English, but play will be in Spanish. Note this has an emphasis on academic classes, although there are many recreational activities and a good sports program. 809 537-8080

Lux Mundi offers a bi-lingual camp. They have a small swimming pool. They too do a very good job with the little ones. The orientation here is the other way around. Most classes will be in Spanish, although they dedicate lots of time to working on the children's English and teachers are bilingual. The focus here is more on recreation. 809 540-5957
