Shopping in Puerto Plata

Hello!

I´m just wondering about the shopping in Puerto Plata. Does Puerto Plata has anything to offer a teenager like me? I like sports and electronics (and of course nice clothes)! So, is there any sports and electronical stores in Puerto Plata? How about the prizes? And do they have a lot to offer? What do they offer?

And the clothing stores? Do they have any brand clothes (like Nike, Hilfiger)? Prizes? Quality? If someone has something else to add about the shopping in Puerto Plata it´s ok!!!

Would be glad if I´ve got an answer!

PP is not a place one goes to shop. There are some shops but they are expensive. Don't plan on getting any cheap deals. In Sept a new electronics store opened in the city, but there were no deals. Shopping for name brands - you pay imported prices from other countries. Teens go to the Dr for the beach, sun, dancing, buy a couple of t-shirts.

Hi, I don´t know from where Lynda is. But for us germans, clothes are much cheaper over there than in germany. I bought some brands from Hilfiger, Levis, Kelvin Klein.... and it was good quality. Gina

Ha ha ha!!! Too bad for me then... I think we should take a day-trip to Santa Domingo for some shopping! There aren´t a lot of stores in Purto Plata.
