Re: land measure

A solar is the Spanish name for a plot of land. It does not refer to any measurement but to the land itself. If you see a for sale sign that says solar, it would be the same as seeing one in English that read "Lot for Sale". I hope that's clear.

That is clear, and I thank you. It means that I have to get further information on the size of the plot.

I am U.S. citizen, part time D.R. resident, married to a D.R. lawyer

and had to convert our english measure to metric.

1 M sq = 10.795 sq ft ,1 Terea =629 M sq, 6.433 Tereas=1 acre, 15.89 Tereas= 1 Hectare, 1Hectare = 2.47 acres , 1acre=43560 sq ft
