Default New Year Eve Bash

I'm coming over for Christmas and New Year and, other than going to the normal hotel celebrations, I need somewhere good to go for the New Year. I was wondering if anyone was aware of a decent party, preferably on the beach, which is open to anyone, near Puerto Plata?

There will be a lot of last minute improvising for year end celebrations. When you arrive, just ask and ask and you may find a party you would like to go to.

If youre flying one of the "Majors," Co, AA I would expect everything to be in order by the 2-3rd Jan. They need those planes for other runs and can't leave then sitting in the Caribbean

thanks for your insight tom. it is one of the "majors" and i know they need their planes for other routes, but my real concern is that there will be problems w/ computers, etc. in las americas airport that will be beyond the control of the airlines. if you have any thoughts on that, i'd appreciate it. i can deal with a delay of a few hrs or maybe even a day, but not any longer. --angela.

Computers are not going to keep plnaes on ground. SDQ can call Miami for clearence and they can use the little slide cards on en route centers like thye did for years
