Yes, but at double the price. These items are all imported.

That is, double the price as in the US. You would be best off shopping for these in Santo Domingo toy stores that will have the better selection: Check out Juguetón, Novia de Villa, Mundo de Juguete toy stores.

you can get Winnie the Pooh things where you live, but the DR has some special things that are Dominican that you can't get anywhere else. Why don't you look around when you get to the DR and see what kind of special thing you can buy to be a special souvenir to remember this special country and your trip?

Arcoiris, rethink the wording of your first sentence and how others view it. You are addressing a 10 year child. ZZ.

Arcoiris, you don't know how to talk to a child........I guess you don't have one......Read some education magazines or articles for school age children........Don't be so rude/////////////////

Well, I looked it over, and don't see why the criticism of my post. I have children, am an aunt, and a teacher. I love it when I see them after many years and they thank me. The only thing I can see from my first sentence is it might interfere with the Winni the Pooh company profits. Some people do talk down to children; I don't. I expand children's horizons. For this child to know that there are very special things to see in the DR that she would probably like to have instead of something that she might expect from her limited experience opens her to some very pleasant Dominican surprises coming up. I teach my children that the new things that people from different cultures have to offer are wonderful to learn about and share. She would have a great item to share in show and tell that many of her class mates may never have seen before. Wait till she tastes Bon ice cream for the first time!

you could. I've seen Sammy Sosa shirts and caps. They also have straw hats. You can buy practically anything in the DR that you can anywhere else thanks to imported mass manufactured goods. You can also buy native goods that are rare in other countries. I thought about it and decided I would look for a good set of dominoes.
