Well, I looked it over, and don't see why the criticism of my post. I have children, am an aunt, and a teacher. I love it when I see them after many years and they thank me. The only thing I can see from my first sentence is it might interfere with the Winni the Pooh company profits. Some people do talk down to children; I don't. I expand children's horizons. For this child to know that there are very special things to see in the DR that she would probably like to have instead of something that she might expect from her limited experience opens her to some very pleasant Dominican surprises coming up. I teach my children that the new things that people from different cultures have to offer are wonderful to learn about and share. She would have a great item to share in show and tell that many of her class mates may never have seen before. Wait till she tastes Bon ice cream for the first time!
