Internet speed in Puerto Plata! (There's Hope)

I had just about given up! My waiting time for downloads and even my email seemed to take for ever, When last Sat. Codetel changed the telephone lines on my street to cables the size of silver dollars. Right now the speed of my Internet connection is fantastic. I hope that this is the begining of better service for all of us!

(Now if I only had power to run it )

I am glad to hear of the upgrades but still very disillusioned by the power outages. Hope they too will cease.
