My wife told me she saw an article on Dominican TV that said Immigration is clamping down on illegal Gringo's living in the DR. It said that three Canadian's and three American's have been deported who live in Bavaro. (no residencey's) Can anyone who has Info about this new policy please advise?

It seems that immigration laws may come to be more uniformly enforced in the DR as well as in the US and Canada. It seems that the DR is pushed up against the wall regarding immigration laws and their enforcement. What goes around comes around.
