Default Bavaro Beach Resort

We just booked our All Inclusive 7 day vacation at Bavaro Beach again for April with CONQUEST. This will be our third year at this resort, however we booked through a different tour company ,we usually book with World of Vacations.I noticed that Conquest does'nt include as much in their plan, ie: mini bar is extra, drinks at disco and Tropicalissimo are not included. I am wondering why or if this is a misprint??Does each tour copmpany offer a different all inclusive plan.

Definitely, different tour companies offer different all-inclusive plans. The prices may reflect the differences. Also, tour operators will get better deals depending on their relationship with the hotels (for instance, those that send more tourists may get better rates). Note that the Tropicalissimo show is at the Bavaro Casino, a sister hotel of the Bavaro Beach.

Default Re: Bavaro Beach Resort - mini bar included?

My last stay at the Bavaro Palace hotel, one of the 5 hotels in the Bavaro Beach Resort complex, included both the mini-bar and the show Tropicalissimo at the Bavaro Casino hotel. Note that when we checked out, we had been charged for all the mini-bar items.

If it hadn't been for the fact that I was able to produce a fax that the tour agency (Viajes Barcelo) had sent me (I had requested this special) stating explicity that DRINKS from the mini-bar were included in our package, I would have had no proof with which to use in my dispute. The charges were removed by a manager.

Thanks Jim and DR1 for responding to my concern.Well if price has anything to do with services recieved then we should get the royal treatment because we paid much more with CONQUEST.The only reason for not going with World of Vacations again is because the flight was sold out for the week we want to go, we are to meet relatives there. Anyway we are looking forward to our trip with or without the mini bar,my husband will just have to do without his cold beer while relaxing on the balcony.Jim I enjoy reading your conments and respones, you are a great asset to this board.
