DR1: New Edition of "Living in Santo Domingo?

I am thinking about buying the book "Living in Santo Domingo 1998." However, I was wondering if a new edition is expected soon since many changes have occured in the DR after 1998. Please, let me because I would like to read the most current information.

No. Go ahead and purchase the 1998 book. We are considering an online version for 2000, but we have not begun to work on that project yet. If we do, anyone who has purchased the hard copy will get a reduced rate on the online update. Most of the content is still valid, as lots is not dated. See the chapter list.

I used this book a few months ago when I moved to Santo Domingo from Belgium. It is precious, all the information I used was up to date.

Don't wait for an online version, get your copy ASAP.
