Fun Tropical

Hello! I'm going to DR in December, I'm going to stay at Fun Tropical in Playa Dorada. Has anyone heard abou that hotel?

Yes, I think it's OK but some people say there is a lot of mosquitos... Bring some djungelolja ......

I assume you are landing at PP, but if by chance you land in Santo Domingo, do your shopping there

My husband and I went to Fun Tropical for our honeymoon and we didn't like at all. They do not have good customer service, during the nights there is almost nothing to do, the activities and games during the day are not well organized and plus the mosquitos will drive you Crazy. If you still have time to look for other hotel I suggest you do it!!

In my experience, the "mosquito problem" is totally dependant on weather conditions and time of year, regardless of the tropical destination!

How long ago did you stay there 'cause I was there about 3 years ago and had a great time. I've stayed in both Fun Royale and Fun Tropicale and preferred the Royale side better (the rooms on that side were a bit larger and nicer). When I was there the activities throughout the day and at night were quite good so perhaps they've changed the activities staff?
