Concorde lands at Las Americas SDQ

Does anyone know why a British Airways Concorde landed in Santo Domingo Friday? I saw it taxi off the runway as I was preparing to leave?

Some kind of promotional thing or charter? I understand there was a celebrity golf thing at Casa De Campo, but cant the La Romana airport handle intl jets?

Do a search of last week's daily news briefs, typing in Concorde as key word. An Air France Concorde landed for a few days, coming from Cuba and enroute to Peru. Sounds like somone's millennium trip. The Air France press release did not explain who was on board the Concorde.
