I would like to have any new reviews on the weather in cofresi and any info concerning"Hacienda Garden Club" and others resorts surroundings. Gracias........Dano!!!!!!

If you are staying at the garden club....Say Hello to Ernesto... He will be more than happy to help you have a fun time... Change money at local banks for your own saftey, garden club or the tropicial or the Elizabeth...Have a good Time....

We are staying at Hacienda Garden in Puerto Plata. Are there bank machines there? If not where is closest bank? How do you get there?

We are leaving on Wednesday.

There are lots of bank machines in and around PP. However, I have found that my credit card (Mastercard) gives you nowhere near the correct exchange rate. The whack me 6.5 to 7 %. Theis is for both purchases and cash advances. I recommend cash or travellers checks. If checks, you need your passport to cash them.
