Here is some new information on Occidental Flamenco Bavaro in Punta Cana...

A travel agent sent this to me...

"We just got back from the Flamenco Bavaro - It will be a beautiful resort - once it is done! It probably won't be completed until January/February at the earliest. If you are going before then I would recommend you get a hold of the agent who booked it and try to upgrade to a finished hotel so you won't be disappointed. I would recommend the Melia Tropical - one of the best in the Punta Cana area. Hope you have a great time!"

I have since switched resorts from the Flamenco to Melia Tropical...I think I will visit the resort when I know for sure it will be 100% finished. I will be going to Melia Tropical towards the end of Jan., if I have time I will be sure to make a visit to the Flamenco and report back.
