PACKING LIST/EXPIRY DATE ON REPELLENTS

We are off to DR in February.

(1) Can anyone advise where a good "Packing List" (ideas on what to bring to DR) may be located, perhaps a web site to help organize the operation more effectively (We want to pack very LIGHT), and

(2) Does anyone know if DEET or SUNTAN LOTION has a shelf life. We have had some for several years and want to know if it would still be effective. Thank you for any info
