Default The DR does not have a rainy season

The average rainfall varies greatly by region.

For example, January is the rainiest month of the year for Puerto Plata, with an average of 11 inches of rain while nearly the driest month of the year for Santo Domingo with only 2.2 inches of rain.

San Pedro da Macoris, La Romana, and Santo Domingo have the most rain in September with 6.1, 5.7, and 6.8 inches.

That said, the entire Caribbean experiences the height of hurricane season in September and October.

Click below, enter a city such as Santo Domingo to get statistical temperature and rainfall data.

Hey, thanks I was looking for something just like that. What I like most is that April is not mentioned anywhere in there
